An opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant team and work in a four-acre walled kitchen garden, growing fruit and vegetables using regenerative agricultural practices.
Applicants must have at least one year’s relevant horticultural experience. A passion for gardening and an appreciation for the natural world is a must.
We are looking for an individual who has the knowledge and practical skills to help with the growing and care of our fruit and vegetables and feels confident to take a pro-active approach to growing in the kitchen garden. If you are interested, we think you will need to:
- Be happy to work on your own and with a team of staff and volunteers.
- Enjoy working outside in all weather conditions.
- Be able to follow instructions and take initiative.
- Work unsupervised.
- Be physically fit.
Tasks include weeding, watering, raising and caring for plants, harvesting and caring for the growing spaces and occasionally leading other volunteers in their tasks.
