It’s a fact that the only certainty each of us has in life is that it will end, whether we’re ready or not.

If we’re not ready, we’re potentially causing havoc for our nearest and dearest at a time they can least deal with it. But there’s a surprising alternative …..

What if we could leave this world with no regrets for what we could/should have done, or wish we hadn’t done? What if we could leave a legacy beyond money or possessions? How would you like to be remembered, and how is your life shaping that legacy now? And what about eternity?!

Prompted by her own experience of unexpected loss, in Living to Finish Well Marjie unpacks this unexpectedly optimistic subject, looking at both the importance and the unexpected blessings of dealing with these things in the here and now.

From thinking about legacy in its widest context to drilling down into the sometimes perplexing details that surround death, this retreat provides time and space to begin to tackle the subject we all prefer to avoid. We’ll think about key issues that influence and shape the legacy we leave, as well as important practical matters relating to end-of-life, understanding facts rather than myths, and discovering ways in which we can make life easier for those who will have to clear up after us!

There will be time to reflect and plan, to begin tackling your own issues, and time to talk, share, encourage and learn from each other.
